Luminox 6402 Evo F-117 Nighthawk Mens Watch
Luminox watches pioneered the development of small, individual luminescent tracer lamps and was contacted by the U.S. Navy SEAL teams to build a dive watch for their use on night missions. Luminox watches developed the initial Navy SEAL dive watch that launched in 1994. LUMINOX watches incorporate higher quality features found in the realm of fine watches, such as 10-year lithium batteries and sapphire glass crystals with anti-reflective coatings. Each Luminox watch contains small, individual luminescent tracer lamps. These individual lamps (Borosit glass capsules) are firmly embedded in the hands, the hour indicators on the clockface and in the case of diver's watches additionally on the turning ring. Luminox wristwatches do not require any external light source in order to recharge the color on the clockface, as is the case with conventional luminous colour - nor do they require a press of a button to light-up the clockface, as is the case with watches with electroluminescence.
